About Anna
Anna was born and raised in the beautiful Forest of Dean where the surroundings inspired a love of capturing the essence of people and the scenery with a camera from an early age. During her training to become a primary school teacher, she focused on art including developing her already strong passion for photography at degree level. Anna became a teacher for 10 years using her artistic flair with the children. This included the use of photography at every opportunity. Her heart however, longed to be able to focus solely on being creative with photos and people.
Anna has now established 'Crafty photography' where she applies her craft inspired approach with her photography skills. Her aim is to capture the essence of a subject in an arty but natural way and in a relaxed environment. To achieve this goal, for example with people or animals, she uses her years of experience of working with families to make the subjects feel more at ease and be themselves. This has been found to be more easily achievable in or around their own homes or local environments. Anna will therefore travel to you.
Anna also works as the resident photographer for Laura Hunter Design, a website and logo based graphic design company. This gives further scope for creative and technical possibilities.
